Security Analyst and Licensed Penetration Tester
The objective of the LPT certification is to ensure that each professional follows a strict code of ethics, is exposed to the best practices in the domain of penetration testing and aware of all the compliance requirements required by the industry This E|C SA LPT program teaches Security Professionals the advanced uses of the available methodologies, tools and techniques required to perform comprehensive information security tests.
Prerequisite
- Experience with Windows and/or UNIX/LINUX operating systems, along with knowledge of TCP/IP and networking.
To achieve the L|PT designation, you must also meet the following requirements:
- Achieve Certified Ethical Hacker (C|EH) Certification.
- Achieve EC-Council Certified Security Analyst (E|CSA) certification

- To become an EC-Council Licensed Penetration Tester, you must meet the following requirements in addition to attending our authorized EC-Council L|PT Workshop:
- Achieve Certified Ethical Hacker (C|EH) Certification.
- Achieve EC-Council Certified Security Analyst (E|CSA) certification.
- Complete L|PT Training Criteria:
- Fill out L|PT Application form.
- A training source agreement approval should be endorsed by the sponsoring agency.
- Documentation on criminal background check, or an authentication from an investigation agency absolving a criminal history.
- Resume with detailed professional experience, previous certification /certificates and references for verification to be submitted.
- Agree to EC-Council Code of Ethics.
